Google has officially unveiled a new feature to Google Maps called Live View, which helps you navigate to your destination more easily than ever before. The feature utilizes augmented reality (AR), which will display various important information such as direction and distance markers which you can follow to get to your destination quickly.
But that’s not all, Live View also displays landmarks as well as the distance to these landmarks so that you can orient yourself better. In the future, Google plans on releasing Live View in Location Sharing so that you can find your friends and family via the Live View feature which will be available on both Android and iOS operating systems.
