Google One is a subscription service by Google that allows users to get extra storage, as well as access to additional artificial intelligence services. It has been offered for the past few years, and today, Google shared that Google One now has 150 million subscribers.
The last time Google shared figures was in February 2024, when it recorded a figure of 100 million customers. Google One is offered at a starting price of RM8.49 per month for 100 GB. The AI-powered version is available for RM97.99 per month which also includes 2TB of storage. The largest storage size offered is 30TB at RM644.99 per month.
Google One is one of Google's offerings that further diversifies its revenue and does not rely solely on advertising. We have yet to confirm other details on the news. So, we should wait for more confirmation from Google.
