Google launched its Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 smartphones yesterday, but the event wasn't just about the physical products. During the event, the company also introduced new changes to some of its software. Specifically, Google Photos is getting a revamped image editor to improve your photos.

As announced by Google, Google Photos can now provide you with suggestions on what you can do to improve your photos. This includes simple changes like brightening and rotating it. There are also functions where you can turn the background into monochrome, or make the colours pop out more just by tapping one button.

If you like manual editing, the updated Google Photos now provides finer controls for you to do so. With the help of sliders, you can easily tweak settings like the brightness and saturation for a photo. There's also a setting called Portrait Light, where you can control how light reflects off the portrait of a person in the photo.

Currently, the new Google Photos is only available on the new Pixel devices and older ones will get it soon. However, the company has yet to announce when other Android devices will get the upgrade. With that said, what do you think about the one-tap photo enhancement features? Are there more you wish to see added?
