Google’s upcoming Pixel 10 Pro Fold, along with the Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a, won’t hit shelves until 9 October, despite being unveiled at the Made by Google event on 20 August. The delay marks a significant setback for Google’s 2025 hardware rollout.

What’s Delayed and Why the Hold-Up?

According to this source, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel Watch 4, and Pixel Buds 2a are going to be delayed. These devices were initially expected to launch alongside the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL, which will still go on sale on 28 August.

Unconfirmed supply chain issues are reportedly to blame. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold features a new hinge and display, possibly contributing to production delays. With that, the Watch 4 and Buds 2a may also be affected by component changes.

Market Impact

The delay could hurt Google’s momentum, especially with Apple’s iPhone 17 and new Watch models expected to launch weeks earlier. Analysts warn that Google’s staggered release may dilute excitement and sales potential for its foldable and wearable lineup.

Of course, since it's unconfirmed, you can take this news with a pinch of salt. Until then, we are only a few weeks away from the Made by Google launch event. Stay tuned for our news coverage then, only at TechNave.com.
