Two years ago, the name Pixie was leaked , supposedly for a new personal virtual assistant powered by generative artificial intelligence for Google Pixel users. Now, Android Authority has revealed a few details about the virtual assistant. So, what should you know about it?
For your information, Pixie is said to be a new virtual assistant that understands context and understands what users want. According to leaked details, the longer Pixie is used, the more personalised it will be just for that user. Pixie is not the final name, as it will most likely go by the name Pixel Sense.
Additionally, Pixel Sense will use data from apps and services like Google Calendar, Chrome, Contacts, Docs, Files, Gmail, Keep Notes, Maps, Messages, Phone, Photos, Aurelius (a mystery app codename), Recorder, Pixel Screenshots, Wallet, YouTube Music, and YouTube. All of the data is said to be processed directly on the device and should not be accessed by Google or other apps.
This personal virtual assistant can also suggest destinations for users to travel to, buy products they might be interested in, and be available to help users no matter what the situation. This new AI feature may also have the nature of an AI agent, where simple tasks from within the device can be performed automatically.
