Google has officially announced the release of their Pixel 10a smartphone for RM2299 from 5 March 2026. Tech specs include a Google Tensor G4 chipset, 3000nits 6.3-inch Actua display with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, 8GB RAM +128GB / 256GB storage, IP68 water and dust resistance, 48MP + 13MP ultrawide dual rear camera and more.

Maintaining the flat back look

Looking much like its predecessor, the Pixel 9a, the new Pixel 10a retains the same flat back design with almost no camera hump and the now standard rounded corners with flat sides look most phones are using now.

AI features include Camera Coach, Auto Best Take, Add me (with small groups) and the ability to edit photos by just asking. As rumoured, Quick Share works with AirDrop and as usual, the phone has 7 years of updates.

Featuring a 100% recycled aluminium frame and 81% recycled plastic back cover in Lavender (purple blue), Berry (red), Fog (pale green) and Obsidian (black), Google says that the screen is now 11% brighter than before with up to 3000nits brightness.

In addition, it offers 30 hours of battery life or 120 hours with Extreme Battery Saver turned on (despite having the same 5100 mAh battery). It also offers slightly faster wired and wireless charging. According to Google, it’s also the first A-series Pixel to have Satellite SOS. Google is also releasing the Pixel Buds 2a in Berry and Fog to complement the Pixel 10a as well.

The Pixel 10a will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage along with a variant with 256GB storage as well. Our previous Pixel 9a review showed just how capable a Pixel A-series phone can be, so stay tuned for the Pixel 10a review and other details at TechNave.com
