By now, you should be seeing a bunch of news about the new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 all across your Facebook wall. Well, if you're already tired of that, take a break and check out this one - we may have just gotten some tips about the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2's upcoming release date and speculated tech-specs.

According to the online Twitter leaker, Evan Blass, it seems that Google is planning to unveil the new Pixel series on 5 October 2017. How does that support his statement? If you take a flashback to last year, the first Pixel was revealed on 4 October 2016, so it does kind of makes sense. But then again, it's just a rumour and a wild guess.

Aside from that, he also mentioned that the new Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 will be featuring new tech-specs such as the Snapdragon 836 processor (no news about it yet, though) and possibly the world's first smartphone to have Android 8.0 Oreo as well. It's also a known fact that the Pixel 2 will be using a 5-inch display while the big brother will go for 6-inch, manufactured by HTC and LG respectively.

Unfortunately, Google Malaysia didn't do anything about bringing in the Pixel series into Malaysia last year. Let's have some hope that they will do something about it this year. Stay tuned for more Pixel news at TechNave.com.
