Google Pixel 5 will come in with Snapdragon 765G instead of the flagship Snapdragon 865+ chipset?

Google Pixel 5 will be officially unveiled on 30 September but retailers in both UK and Europe have already been listing it out with some images. Today, we got the full specs leaks for the upcoming device ahead of the launch from Germany.

According to the source, the Google Pixel 5 will be coming in with the Snapdragon 765G chipset instead of the flagship SNapdragon 865 or 865+ and also lack of support for mmWave 5G network. It is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for the base model. It is equipped with a 6-inch OLED Gorilla Glass 6 display with 90Hz refresh rate.

As for the cameras, it sports a 12.2MP main camera,16MP ultrawide angle camera with a fingerprint sensor on the rear and an 8MP punch-hole selfie camera on the front. In terms of the batteries, it has a 4080mAh battery that supports an 18W fast charge, wireless charging as well as reverse wireless charging. It also comes with IP68 water and dust resistance certification.

Either way, there’s still no official confirmation on the tech specs and local pricing yet, so do take this with a pinch of salt. But it is expected with the starting price of €629(~RM3042) in the Eurozone. Stay tuned for the latest tech news updates on TechNave.com
