Google Pixel 7 series will launch on 6 October, according to "very reputable sources"

There will be quite some flagship smartphones from different brands launching in the upcoming months. With Samsung leading the scene on 10 August, Apple will go on to reveal the latest generation of iPhones in September. Until now, someone claims that the Google Pixel 7 series will arrive in the following month.

According to tipster Jon Prosser from Front Page Tech, the new Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are scheduled to debut on 6 October. The source cites that it's from "very reputable sources". It also mentions that the pre-orders for the devices will commence on the same day. After that, they will be available to purchase on 13 October and start being shipped to customers.

Google had already shown us the design during Google I/O 2022 happened back in May. Now all left are the tech specs and features the devices will offer. The two are believed to pack the second-generation Tensor chip with improved performance. Therefore, let's wait and see what Google can pull off with its upgraded in-house chip this time.
