Previously, we mentioned the leaked design for the Google Pixel 8a. Today, it looks like promotional images for the phone have surfaced on the Internet. That said, what should you know about it?

According to 9to5Google, the new phone could feature up to 7 years of support for security updates. In its promotional poster, Google stated that one of the selling points of the Pixel 8a mobile phone is the "AI-mazing" camera, which provides many functions such as Audio Magic Eraser, Night Sight and Best Take.

In addition, the Google Pixel 8a mobile phone also has new AI functions, such as Call Assist, which can help users filter calls, and Circle to Search, which allows "circle selection and search." Specs-wise, the Pixel 8a could run a Google Tensor G3 processor. This is the same processor used in the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro launched last fall. Google also mentioned fast charging in the poster, but the charging speed is not expected to exceed 30W.

Moreover, the Pixel 8a has passed IP67 waterproof and dustproof certification and will receive seven years of security updates. Interestingly, Google might release the Pixel 8a mobile phone at this year's I/O developer conference and go on sale on May 16. As of now, we have yet to confirm the Malaysia release date for this device.
