While Google is a big contributor to the Android open source project, the company doesn't make much in the way of actual hardware. A few years ago, Google and LG were working on a Pixel Watch, which got cancelled in the end. Now, a new rumour claims that Google is going to launch it after all.

Earlier today, the leaker Jon Prosser posted a teaser image of what he claimed is the Google Pixel Watch. The image was vague, showing only the watch face and a physical dial on the right. However, Prosser also said that more images and videos would be coming soon, which means there's more to show. We'll definitely update this post once those images are released.

Going back to the design, the physical dial here indicates that Google could be going for a smartwatch with a classical watch design. This would mean that it will have a round watch body made from some kind of metal, such as stainless steel. If Google is aiming for a premium device with this, we can also expect advanced sensors like ECG.

Of course, we're just speculating based on vague hints here, so do take our word with a grain of salt. Having said that, would you be interested in a premium Google Pixel Watch like that? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
