In case you didn’t know, Google Play Games PC is a PC gaming platform by Google. As of now, there are over 3000 games on offer. The platform also supports Play Pass for subscribers and Play Points for supported countries.

For your information, when this feature was announced during the Google for Games Developer Summit 2024, we could assume that Google wanted to compete with Steam and Epic. Plus, Play Games PC now offers native PC video games. So far, Lineage2M, Odin: Valhalla Rising, Genshin Impact, and Dragonheir: Silent Gods are playable. Google also invites developers to publish their games to Play Games.

Moreover, you can sync the progress of the game from your Google account. You can also make the payment in Play Store account. Interestingly, you could get direct games from the Play Pass in the future.

Previously, Play Pass users increased by 120%. However, the number of Play Games PC users is still not large enough to convince developers to include high-graphics video games on this platform. Who knows in the future we can see Resident Evil 4, Death Stranding, Stary and others directly on Play Games PC.

Overall, we would love to see this platform on Malaysia soon. After all, the more the merrier. Maybe Google Play Games PC will make PC games more affordable in the future.
