Apple iPad has always been superior to Android tablets when it comes to the quality of apps. As most of us know, some apps downloaded from Google Play Store might have not been tuned for the tablet experience. Therefore, users would have to bear with the apps displayed in low quality on large screens. However, things might change soon with Google announcing a new plan.

According to the announcement on Android Developers Blog, Google Play Store will help surface and prioritize apps and games optimized for large screens when viewing the store on a large screen device such as a tablet or foldable phone. The tech giant also mentioned that the changes will be made in the coming months.

Besides that, Google will also start to warn users if apps didn't meet the basic large screen requirements. Therefore, you would know that you'll get a low-quality experience out of them. Furthermore, the rating and reviews will also be shown according to the device type, be it phones, tablets and foldables, Chrome OS, Wear OS or Android Auto.
