Google Play now tells you if the app you are downloading has ads

If you do not like ads in the Android apps you download from the Google Play store, the next time you want to download an app, check out the app's description. Google recently activated a feature that tells if the app you are downloading comes with ads or not.

The new “Contains Ads” line will now appear in the app description (regardless if it is paid or free) to signify if the app will show ads when the user uses it on his/her device. This notification is great for users, as users who do not want to download apps with ads can stay clear from these apps.

While ads are a necessary evil, it is nice to see that Google is trying to help users in getting the best experience out of their mobile experience with this new small but important feature.
