Google has given us a little more information regarding Google Stadia, and how much bandwidth is required in order to stream content of various resolutions and frame rates. Based on the infographic provided, Stadia requires a minimum of 10Mbps connection in order to sustain a constant 720p 60FPS game stream while the Stadia Pro requires the highest recommended speed for 4k 60FPS HDR with 5.1 surround sound content is 35Mbps and above.

That being said, Google Stadia might not be suitable for households with capped internet quota as the highest recommended speed can easily use up to 1TB of quota in just 65 hours or even less. As far as we know, Stadia is expected to launch probably around the fourth quarter of 2019, along with 25 Stadia compatible games. Currently, there will be 2 different subscription tiers starting from Stadia Base, which is free and it comes with game streaming resolution of up to 1080p 60FPS, while the Stadia Pro will be priced at 9.99USD a month will be able to stream at the maximum 4k 60FPS as mentioned above.

There is no news on whether Malaysia will be one of the pilot countries and whether there will be a local price for the subscription plan. Stay tuned to TechNave.com, as we provide more updates on the matter.
