In 2018, Google Tasks was launched as an application for creating task lists. It's another confusing Google app because the same features can be done on Keep and Calendar. This makes Google slowly integrate Tasks directly into Calendar and soon, full integration will be introduced. So, what should you know about it?
For your information, the integration of Tasks on Calendar only allowed you to view and create Tasks with an expiration date. This latest update fully integrates Tasks into Calendar. This allows you to do the same things that are in the Tasks app itself. It also uses the latest interface with a display of cards and floating action buttons below.
Surprisingly, Google still continues to support the Tasks application and there is no indication that this application will be discontinued. Plus, it is interesting to see if long-time Google users will stick with the Google Task app or use what's already offered in Google Calendar. We have yet to confirm other details on the news. So, we should wait for more confirmation from Google.
