If you've been thinking about the next show you can binge on your Android TV, you will probably appreciate Google making things easier for you. The company has added a new feature that will help you find something new to watch. There will now be a rotating carousel of "Google Play Staff Pick" above the apps to show the highlights of some popular shows.

According to Google, the highlights are short teasers of selected shows. These are chosen by Google Play's entertainment experts or Google's US media partners. You can also add suggestions from streaming services that you subscribe to. However, this update is only available for Android TV apps like Starz, DC Universe, and EPIX NOW. Google did not mention if Android TV users outside of the US will get to experience this feature.

Just choose the app you want and click on the button, no sign-up forms involved!

Another feature that was added to Android TV is a quick-subscribe feature. Rather than having to sign up to like Netflix individually by filling up forms, you just need to click on a "Subscribe and install" button and Google will set up an account with the service for you. Again, this service is only available in the US for now.

We think that these two new features will be useful for most people and we hope it will be available in Malaysia soon. But what do you think, will the highlights make it easier for you to find new shows? Let us know in the comments on our Facebook page and don't forget to stay tuned to TechNave.com for more tech news.
