Google is officially kicking off its next hardware season with the ‘Made by Google’ 2025 event set for 20 August 2025. The company began sending out invites with the tagline “See what’s new from Pixel”, confirming a 10 a.m. PT livestream. The event is expected to unveil Google's latest Pixel devices and ecosystem updates.

Pixel 10 Series to Headline the Launch

As tradition goes, the spotlight will shine on the Pixel 9 lineup. This year, we’re expecting a standard Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and a Pixel 10 Pro XL. You can also expect new and enhanced AI features and Tensor G4 chips.

Also anticipated is the launch of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Google's second-gen foldable. After a mixed reception of the previous model, it is expected to come with design refinements and tighter Android foldable optimisation.

Any Other Pixel Products?

Although not mentioned in the invite, the event could also introduce new accessories such as the Pixel Watch 4 and updated Pixel Buds 2a, if Google follows its usual product cadence. Leaks around the Watch 4 suggest a refined design and improved battery life.

One major theme to watch for is AI integration. With Gemini AI becoming more deeply baked into Android and Pixel devices, Google may use the event to showcase how AI continues to shape its user experience, from photography to productivity.

Where to Watch

The event will be streamed globally via Google’s official platforms, such as its official YouTube channel. In Malaysia, fans and tech followers can tune in live on 21 August 2025 at 1 a.m. to see all the announcements unfold.
