Google is now reportedly developing a new function that will allow Android and iPhone smartphone users to easily share files. So, what should you know about it?

A feature that could bridge both the iOS and Android?

For your information, the feature, known as Android Quick Share, was discovered in a beta update to Google Play Services. Although still under development, we could expect this feature to arrive soon.

Interestingly, the report claimed that this sharing feature from Android to iPhone requires you to log in to your Google account first. This is completely different from the way Android shares with others, which doesn't require it.

Unfortunately, it is still unclear whether iPhone users will also need to first log in to their Google account before being able to share files between these platforms.

As of now, there are no further details on this report. So, we should wait for more announcements from Google.
