According to the latest information, Google has cut its Pixelbook lineup entirely. Media outlet The Verge claims that the tech giant has dissolved the team working on the product. Therefore, for those looking forward to the sequel of the Pixelbook and the Pixelbook Go launched in 2019, you might want to shift your focus.

It's said that Google has discontinued the Pixelbook project as part of its recent cost-cutting measures. However, the employees that worked on the Pixelbook devices are still in the company but under different departments now. Currently, the Pixel Go is still available for purchase. It's unsure when Google will cut it from the market.

On 7 October, Google sets to unveil its latest flagship series Google Pixel 7, bringing two devices powered by the company's new in-house chip, the Tensor G2. Furthermore, Google's first Pixel smartwatch will also make an appearance. Next year, the company is expected to debut a Pixel-branded tablet and a foldable phone.
