The internet is a fast-growing environment. So, it is not uncommon to see random things on the internet. That includes AI-generated content. Recently, Google said it will take action on the AI spam. That said, what should you know about it?

For your information, the giant tech company will change to deamplify websites that "feel like they were created for search engines instead of people." Google also promises improved quality ranking and better spam policies to tackle this issue. This could lead to the most helpful information on the web and reduce unoriginal content in search results.

Moreover. Google says the new changes will reduce low-quality and unoriginal content in its search results by 40%. Plus, Google might consider low-value content from third parties to be spam. This is what Elizabeth Tucker, Director of product management at Google says about it:

“This update involves refining some of our core ranking systems to help us better understand if webpages are unhelpful, have a poor user experience or feel like they were created for search engines instead of people,”

We have yet to confirm other details on the subject. However, it will be interesting to see how Malaysians will react to this progress. Especially for meme page admins.
