Google has announced the integration of its generative AI (gen AI) Gemini tools into Google Workspace Business and Enterprise plans. These capabilities are included without additional add-ons, aiming to make AI accessible for businesses of all sizes. The updated pricing begins at RM58.40 per user per month, effective immediately for new customers. Existing customers will see changes on 17 March 2025, or at their plan renewal.
The simplified pricing eliminates the need for AI-specific add-ons. For example, a previous Workspace Business Standard plan with a Gemini add-on would cost RM133.40 per user per month. With the update, the same plan now costs RM58.40 per user per month but there is a slight increase of RM8.40 over the previous price of RM50 per user without Gemini.
New to Google Workspace?
In addition, if you’re new to Google Workspace, you can get an introductory price of RM35.04 per user for the first 20 users of the Business Standard plan. Very small business customers will not experience pricing changes at this time.

The rollout of new Gemini AI tools includes:
- AI Assistance Across Workspace Apps: AI capabilities in Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Meet, Chat, and more to speed up tasks like summarizing emails, drafting documents, and creating presentations.
- Gemini Advanced AI: A tool for brainstorming, coding, research, and data analysis, with features like “Gems” for specialized tasks.
- NotebookLM Plus: A research assistant that provides instant insights, audio overviews, and customizable notebooks for team collaboration.
- Improved Meetings: AI features such as note-taking, enhanced audio/video, and real-time meeting summaries.
