Previously, to get all the AI features in Gmail, users had to subscribe to a plan like Google AI Plus, Google AI Ultra or Google AI Pro. Now, regular Gmail users will enjoy a major improvement in how they manage their daily emails at no cost. That said, what should you know about it?

A smarter way to personalise your email and helps you write better

For your information, the features offered is Help Me Write is available, which allows you to enter instructions and automatically generate draft emails. These drafts can be edited, improved or sent directly.

Additionally, there’s the new Suggested Replies, an update to Smart Replies, which uses conversation context to suggest one-click responses that are relevant and in line with the user's writing style. Moreover, the third feature is AI Overviews, which displays summaries at the top of long or complex email conversations.

These three features are being offered free of charge to all users in stages . This change aligns with Google's preview of a new AI Inbox feature, which is expected to arrive for paid users in the coming months.

This new view will appear as an additional option in addition to the traditional inbox, offering a personalised summary that highlights important information without having to open each message one by one.
