Google is working on a Chrome version of Circle to Search

The release of Galaxy AI brought features many consider useful. But if you were to ask us which is the best, it would be Circle to Search. Although it may feel like just another search feature, its convenience can't be underestimated. Now, it's even coming to Google Chrome.

According to @Leopeva64 (via 9to5Google), Google is preparing a Chrome version of Circle to Search. The source described it as a modified version of Lens UI, allowing users to 'scan' documents or images to initiate a search. Mind you, the feature is currently an experimental feature that isn't available even in the Chrome Canary (beta) versions of the browser. But given the general interest in the feature, we may see it implemented soon.

So, how does the Chrome version work? Based on the videos and screenshots from the source, there will be a button to call up a tool for the 'circling' part. Using the tool, you highlight a section of your choice on a web page. After you've highlighted something, a sidebar with relevant Google search results would pop up on the right side.

Once this feature is released, we expect it to be one of the most popular Google Chrome features available. How about you, do you think this is a better way to search? Let us know in the comments on our Facebook page, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
