Android currently doesn't support rumble on controllers

For those who play mobile games on their mobile devices, the experience of using touch controls can sometimes be frustrating. You can normally just use a Bluetooth controller, but it's often without the extra features that come with it like rumbles. Now, Google might be considering fixing that.

According to 9to5Google, Google could be looking into adding rumble support in Android for game controllers. The hint to this was spotted in an official Google support thread, where a user posted the feature request back in July. It was originally closed with the reason being "Won't Fix", which indicated that the company had no intention to support rumble for controllers.

However, staff from Google recently dropped a new message that read "Thanks for the feedback. The feature will be considered for a future release." From the answer given, we can assume that Google is strongly considering it now, as it could benefit those who game on Stadia as well. Of course, there's no telling when the feature will be added.

Having said that, is controller rumble something you'd want or are there other controller features you'd like to see? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news like this.
