When it comes to computers, Chromebooks probably see the least widespread use. Chrome OS needs to do much more to get people to adopt its use and Google may have the right idea for it. Reports claim that Google is working on a dual-screen device that could be a new Chromebook.
According to 9to5Google, the device bears the code name "Palkia" and is a Chrome OS device featuring two touchscreens and a trackpad. The reference to this was found in the source code for Chrome OS. From the description, this could be like Lenovo's Yoga Book C930 laptop, which comes with a second screen that doubles as a virtual keyboard and giant trackpad.

That's not the only dual-screen device that's around though. There are models like the ASUS ZenBook Duo laptop that has a smaller secondary screen or the upcoming Microsoft Surface Duo, which is an Android tablet featuring two displays. But since a trackpad was specifically listed in the Chrome OS coding, we're more inclined to believe that Google is working on another Chromebook laptop that will be akin to the ZenBook Duo.
Of course, this may not work out well and Google could end up giving up on the idea. But what do you think, would a Chromebook with two displays be useful enough for you to consider buying one? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news like this.
