Today, Google announced its plans to expand the Gemini AI Assistant beyond smartphones. The big giant tech company wants to integrate it into various Android devices, such as smartwatches, TVs, and even vehicles that support the Android system platform.
On the blog, Google said Gemini will soon be available on Wear OS smartwatches, allowing users to interact naturally without needing to type on small screens, including setting reminders during a workout or checking emails on the go. Then later this year, it will also be integrated into Google TV, offering personalised content recommendations and educational assistance, such as requesting age-appropriate movies for children or exploring topics tailored with YouTube video suggestions.
On the other hand, Gemini will be making its way on Android Auto. Google said this will enhance the driving experience with more natural conversations, like asking for directions or summarising messages. Finally, Google is collaborating with Samsung to bring Gemini to the upcoming Android XR platform, which includes headsets and smart glasses. This integration will assist users in tasks like planning vacations by providing immersive experiences with videos, maps, local tips, and much more.
As an intention to provide users with a seamless and intelligent experience across platforms, Google said it aims to offer personalised, proactive assistance wherever users are, enhancing productivity and interactivity in daily tasks. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
