A few hours ago, Google revealed the next-gen Pixel 9 Pro on YouTube but it was just a short teaser. However, what surprised us was the Pixel 9 Pro Fold unveiling which was never rumoured before until today.
Last year, Google's foldable phone was simply called the Google Pixel Fold but it seems that the company is incorporating it into the Pixel 9 series. Not much information is known but the Pixel 9 Pro Fold looks like a significant upgrade which can open fully and lie flat on a surface. The rear camera design module also looks great.
As for the Pixel 9 Pro, it will retain a triple rear camera setup and look similar to the predecessor with minimal changes. We wonder if Google will continue to release more teasers in the coming weeks since its official event will be on 13 August 2024. Besides the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Google is expected to launch the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL as well.
Besides the new Pixel 9 series, the Pixel Watch 3 could also make an appearance at the event. The Made by Google livestream will begin at 10 AM PT which is 1 AM (Wednesday) in Malaysia's timezone. Until then, stay tuned for the official coverage only at TechNave.com.
