Sharing files between Android devices and Microsoft Windows PCs has just gotten easier recently thanks to Google’s Nearby Share app for the latter. Now available in beta, users can test it out by downloading it from the Android website here.

With the app, users can simply drag and drop files to share them from their PC to an Android phone. You can also right-click on them and select the Nearby Share option to share.

The transfers would also be automatically accepted if both devices are logged into the same Google account. Furthermore, you do need to turn on your PC’s WiFi and Bluetooth for the feature to work but worry not as you can choose who can see your device and send you files.

To find out more about the app, check out Google’s official blog post on the product here. As always, make sure to stay tuned to TechNave for more trending tech news such as this.
