Google has announced that the Pixel 4 series has been unveiled in the United States, starting from the price USD799(~RM3348). The new smartphone by Google comes with the innovative Radar technology, which is built into the notch of the smartphone that allows users to interact with the Pixel 4 without physically touching it.
But that’s not all, the device also comes with the Google assistant onboard which negates the need to have the smartphone connected into the internet in order to utilize the assistant. Furthermore, it also comes with a 90Hz refresh rate display which won DisplayMate’s Best Display on a Smartphone award. The display is able to intelligently reduce the refresh rate depending on the use case, in order to conserve the smartphone’s battery.
As for the camera, it comes with various features to ensure that the user can take the best photos they could. These features include the Live HDR+ with dual exposure controls, Learning-based white balancing, Wider-range portrait mode, as well as the Night Sight with astrophotography which lets the user take staggering pictures of the stars at night.
In terms of the tech specs, the Pixel 4 and the Pixel 4 XL share many similarities such as the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Camera-wise, the Pixel 4 series is equipped with a 12MP + 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing selfie camera. As for the battery, the Pixel 4 and the Pixel 4 XL comes with a 2800mAh and 3700mAh battery respectively.
As of now, there is no official news on the Malaysia release date of the Pixel 4 series as well as the local pricing.
