
Backpacks are the essentials to most of us during our works and travels for our laptops and all our daily stuffs. One thing for sure, no matter how big our backpacks are, we will still certainly be holding our smartphones all the time to constantly reply messages or answer a calls. But now, you’ll no longer needed to do that with Google's new smart backpack.
Google and Samsonite launched a new smart backpack named as the Konnect-i backpack that integrated Google’s Jacquard lineup technology that turn an ordaninary fabric like material into a touch-sensitive surface that can trigger a number of functions on your smartphone. The whole system is powered by a small tag that can also relay notifications with its build-in LED and small vibration motor and charged by a mini-USB port.
The main features of the Konnect-i backpack is the ability to answer calls, hear text messages, use Google Maps for navigation, play or pause songs, notification alerts or even take selfies by just using your hand gestures on the strap of the backpack. All you need to do is just to connect the Jacquard app on your smartphone and you are good to go. It will come with two versions, a Slim version that features a vertical Zipper while the Standard version will have a horizontal zipper.
With that said, the backpack features plenty of pockets as well as a well padded laptop compartment which is what you would expect from a laptop bag.
