Based on what was uncovered by 9to5Google.com, there were new lines of code in the Google Translate App which seems to hint that there will be new improvements and functionality coming to the application.
The new functionalities that will be coming will include more supported languages, as well as better translation quality for their point and translate camera functionality. Not only that, the code suggests that the camera translation feature will be able to translate text instantly onto the original words as if it was originally printed onto the words themselves.
The codes seems to be present on the Google Translate app version 5.29, but has yet to be enabled by the developers.
