Google is now set to end support for Instant Apps, a feature introduced in 2017 that allowed developers to provide lightweight versions of their apps, allowing users to try them out without having to install them first.
Not enough users to keep it alive
For your information, this step also makes it easier for users to determine what the application offers before choosing to install it. It seems that Google may end support for it because not many people use it, or not many application developers implement support for it.
Additionally, the same can be said about Malaysians, too. We feel the app is not as popular or well-received here. So, it is understandable why Google decided to end it by the end of 2025.
