For your information, starting June 10, Google will distribute a new feature where they will send a reminder email to users if files in Google Drive are not opened or viewed within seven days. Receive this reminder email, will only happen if you don't open or view the shared Google Drive file either through a link or invitation. This email will have a link to Google Drive as well as the sender's details.
We have yet to confirm other details on the subject. Hopefully, everything goes well. After all, everyone in Malaysia would be welcoming of such a feature.
