It seems that a statement by Berita Harian, the Malaysian government will be sending RM50 e-wallet to Malaysian citizens somewhere around the end of the month. While not much is known in regards to the exact date, the Finance Minister mentioned that more details on the in regards to how to obtain the e-wallet will be announced somewhere in the near future.
This was done in conjunction with the e-PENJANA initiative, which is to encourage cashless transactions in Malaysia.
