
The Digital Ministry has now shared that it has developed a National Cyber Ethics Module, together with the Ministry of Education, and is currently in the pilot phase in selected schools across the country to test its effectiveness. That said, what should you know about it?
The new module could start in 2026
For your information, the module strengthening phase will be implemented at the end of 2025, and the full implementation of the National Cyber Ethics Module is scheduled to begin in January 2026 in schools nationwide.
Additionally, this module aims to increase the awareness and knowledge of students nationwide regarding online safety and ethics, as well as provide comprehensive guidance on using the internet and social media responsibly and safely.
Currently, the module focuses on six main topics, including Digital Literacy, Digital Ethics, Digital Health and Wellbeing, Digital Commerce, Digital Privacy and Security, and Digital Rights & Responsibilities.
