Apple is reportedly refreshing its iMac lineup later this year with its next-generation Apple Silicon processor, the M3. This is according to the reliable tipster on everything Apple, Mark Gurman.

Writing in his Power On newsletter on Bloomberg, Gurman alleged that the new iMac will feature the same 24-inch display size and colours as the current generation. However, what would be different is its internals.

Firstly, the new iMac will utilise the new M3 chip built on the 3nm process. In addition, Gurman also claimed that the internals will have components “relocated and redesigned”.

Of course, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed as of yet. Should it turn out to be true, it’d be interesting to see how the M3 processor would perform compared to the M2 and M1.
