HMD Global, which previously held the exclusive license to produce Nokia-branded smartphones, has now removed the list of Nokia phones from its website in Europe. This move marks the beginning of a new phase, where HMD shifts focus to their own brand, Human Mobile Devices (HMD). This shift raises questions about the future of Nokia phones and its impact on loyal fans of the brand.

For your information, HMD now introduces products under its own name such as HMD Skyline. The phone is designed to appeal to consumers without relying on the nostalgia of the Nokia brand. With features such as the modular design on the HMD Fusion model, the company shows its desire to compete with a new identity and its own innovation.

In Europe, Nokia models such as the Nokia X21 have been removed from HMD's website, with some models being rebranded under the HMD name. However, in some other regions such as Asia and America, Nokia phones are still available for now. However, stocks may be limited and HMD is expected to fully complete this transition soon.

Even so, HMD Malaysia's official website still lists the Nokia phone line. However, it is not certain whether it will receive the same fate as HMD in Europe. With this shift, HMD clearly wants to step out of Nokia's shadow. The main focus now is to build its own brand, offering unique and competitive phones. Although the future without Nokia is still unclear, HMD is confident in their ability to create new products that can stand on their own in the market.
