HONOR 20 still sold out in Malaysia after a long sales delay

When HONOR unveiled the HONOR 20 globally just last month, it was quite an awkward time that the Google service issue also happened at the same time. HONOR Malaysia still proceeded the launch event after a few days revealing the price, but not the availability until 21 June 2019 which was really late. So did they manage to sell? Well, yes.

In fact, according to the company, the HONOR 20 still got sold out within three hours during the first day of sale on its official online store (hihonor.com/my). We honestly thought the phone hype has gone cold by then but I guess they proved us wrong. This is perhaps due to the affordable price of RM1699 and many customers still believe in them, and they also got to get the freebies as well with the newly launched HONOR FlyPods Lite and backpack.

Meanwhile, the HONOR 20 also did favourably well in China which wasn't a surprise (since they don't rely on Google services at all), as it did a record-high sales performance of more than a million units sold in China in two weeks. On the other hand, the HONOR 20 Pro sold over 100 million Yuan (~RM60 million) after it went on sale on 18th June. That's a lot of phones.

That's all good, but the Malaysians still want the HONOR 20 Pro (#hinthint). Until then, stay tuned for more HONOR news at TechNave.com.
