HONOR has been on a roll lately. Not long after the launch of the HONOR 30S, the company swiftly followed up with the Malaysian release of the HONOR MagicBook, MagicWatch 2, and 9X Pro. And today, the company finally unveiled its latest flagship HONOR 30, HONOR 30 Pro and HONOR 30 Pro Plus smartphones.

Of the three, the HONOR 30 Pro and 30 Pro Plus share the most similarities. Both have a super-curved 6.57-inch waterfall OLED display that has 90Hz refresh rate and the same quad rear camera setup. Also, they come with the Kirin 990 5G chipset, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of internal storage, and a 4000mAh battery. The two phones will also support for 40W fast-charging, as well as 27W wireless fast-charging on the HONOR 30 Pro Plus.

Going back to the cameras, the HONOR 30 Pro uses a combination of a 40MP main lens, 16MP ultra-wide lens, portrait lens, and telephoto lens. On the other hand, the HONOR 30 Pro Plus has a 50MP main lens, 16MP super wide-angle lens, portrait lens, and macro lens. Both devices come with the same dual punch-hole 32MP + 8MP front cameras as well. The HONOR 30 Pro Plus is expected to perform very well and already has a DxOMark score of 125, making it the current number two in smartphone cameras.

When it comes to camera features, both phones will have 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and 50x digital zoom. They also come with ultra-fast focusing technology, AI RAW super portrait mode, 1920fps slow-motion mode, and more. Suffice it to say, the two phones are jam-packed with camera features.

Moving on to the HONOR 30, the one difference that is immediately apparent is the design. Unlike the super curved waterfall displays of the other two variants, the HONOR 30 comes with a smaller 6.53-inch standard display. It's also sporting a single punch-hole camera (32MP) instead of two. Moreover, under the hood is the newly unveiled Kirin 985 5G chipset. As for the rear cameras, it's also a quad-camera setup consisting of a 40MP main lens, 8MP super wide-angle lens, 50x periscope lens, and 2MP macro lens.

HONOR's three new devices are looking great and the prices aren't too bad either, except maybe the HONOR 30 Pro Plus, which is clearly made to be a top-end variant. Knowing HONOR Malaysia, there's even a chance that this device could be launched here. If it does, would you be interested in buying one?
