Today, HONOR Malaysia officially unveiled the new HONOR 400 and HONOR 400 Pro. With up to 12GB + 512GB, the starting price is RM1,899. At the same time, the company introduced two other new devices: the Pad 10 (WiFi) and Watch 5 Ultra, but we will focus on the new phones here.
HONOR Malaysia is positioning the HONOR 400 and 400 Pro as camera-centric devices, featuring a 200MP Super Sensing primary camera with an f/1.9 aperture and a 1/1.4-inch sensor, combined with OIS and EIS stabilisation. Complementing the camera is a 12MP ultrawide cum macro camera, while the 400 Pro has an extra 50MP AI telephoto camera with a Sony IMX856 sensor, 3x optical zoom and OIS. The front camera is 50MP.
Another highlight is the 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, paired with a 100W HONOR Wired SuperCharge and 50W wireless charging technology for the Pro variant, while the standard version supports 80W HONOR Wired SuperCharge technology. According to HONOR Malaysia, the battery is built for longevity, being able to maintain over 80% of its health even after four years.
The 400 Pro and 400 are powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, respectively. Moreover, the 400 series features a 1.5K AMOLED display (6.7-inch and 6.55-inch, respectively) with a 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000 nits peak brightness. They also run on MagicOS 9.0, enhanced with a variety of AI-driven smart tools, such as AI Summary, AI Minutes, AI Format, AI Translation and AI Correction, as well as integrated with Google Gemini. AI HONOR Image Engine and other AI camera-related tools are present as well.
In terms of pricing, the 400 Pro (12GB + 512GB) costs RM2,699, while the standard HONOR 400 comes in two variants. This includes 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB at the price of RM1,899 and RM2,199, respectively. And to sweeten the deal, HONOR Malaysia is offering a discounted price for the HONOR 400 (12GB + 512GB) for RM1,899 during the pre-order period.
