HONOR 70 Lite 5G release: 90Hz LCD, SD 480+ SoC and 50MP main camera at ~RM1093

HONOR today launched its latest mid-range smartphone offering in the United Kingdom (UK), the HONOR 70 Lite 5G. Featuring some competitive specs for the price point, read on to find out more. 

According to the official HONOR UK website, the 70 lite 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC paired with 4G of RAM. Users can also virtually extend the RAM by 3GB by utilising the 128GB of storage through HONOR’s RAM Turbo technology.

As for the screen, the device sports a 6.5-inch 90Hz TFT LCD panel with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The display features a standard 60Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, TÜV Rheinland certification and supports 16.7 million colours. 

There’s also a water-drop notch which houses an 8MP selfie camera. Meanwhile, at the rear, there’s a 50MP main + 2MP macro + 2MP depth triple-camera setup.

Moreover, the 70 Lite 5G has a 5000mAh battery with support for 22.5WQ HONOR SuperCharge via the USB-C port. Other notable specs include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 12 OS via Magic UI 6.1, a 3.5mm audio jack, dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC and 5G connectivity. 

In the UK, the 70 Lite 5G is offered in Titanium Silver, Ocean Blue and Midnight Black colour options and is priced at GBP199.99 or ~RM1093. As of the time of writing, HONOR has yet to reveal whether the device would be available in other regions.
