This morning, HONOR officially unveiled a video teaser of the HONOR 80 series. Besides giving us a good look at the back cover of the phone, the official launch date in China was also revealed. It's scheduled for 23 November 2022 at 2.30 PM.

Compared with the previous generation, it has a new wavy look but still holds a dual-module rear camera setup. Speaking of which, the dual rear camera now has a decorative silver strip in the shape of the number 8. Obviously, this is to signify and complement the phone's name, HONOR 80.

On the front, it has a pill-shaped cutout front camera. There should be other hidden sensors there too with the blank space, and this looks similar to the Xiaomi Civi 2 which isn't available in the Malaysian market. In addition, there isn't much information about the HONOR 80 series but sources say that there should also be an HONOR 80 SE and HONOR 80 Pro.

Moreover, the HONOR 80 series could equip different chipsets for each model. This includes a MediaTek Dimensity 1080, Snapdragon 778G+ and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Anyway, all will be revealed on the said date so until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
