HONOR 90 GT release - SD 8 Gen 2, up to 24GB RAM & 100W charging from ~RM1693

HONOR has launched its latest mid-ranger in China, the HONOR 90 GT. Featuring some incredible specs at the price range, read on to find out more about the device. 

First up, the mid-ranger is powered by last-generation Qualcomm flagship SoC, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 paired with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB storage. There’s also a 5200mAh battery under the hood, which supports 100W fast charging via the USB-C port.

The screen is a 6.6-inch 120Hz AMOLED with 3840Hz PWM dimming and a 1.5K resolution. There’s a fingerprint scanner embedded underneath the panel and a punch-hole cutout at the top centre which houses the 16MP selfie shooter.

The main camera setup is at the rear, which is a 50MP main + 12MP ultra-wide. Other notable specs include an RF enhancement C1 chip for connectivity, an X-Axis linear motor, dual speakers, Android 14 via MagicOs 7.2, a 3D vapour chamber cooling unit and colour options of either GT Blue, Black or Gold.

In China, the 90 GT starts at CNY2599 or ~RM1693 for the base 12/256GB variant and goes all the way to CNY3699 or ~RM2410 for the specced out 24GB/1TB option. As of the time of writing, HONOR has yet to reveal when this device will be sold in other markets.
