HONOR 9X series unveiled starting from ~RM837 featuring Kirin 810 chipset, up to 8GB RAM, Liquid Cooling and more

Today, it's HONOR's turn to reveal their next mid-range lineup - the HONOR 9X and 9X Pro that were teased since early July. Officially launched in China, the starting price is 1399 Yuan (~RM837) and there are four more variants! But first, here's everything we know about the tech specs.

The 9X series will have two different sets of cameras for the back. First, the standard 9X will feature a dual 48MP (Sony IMX586 sensor) + 2MP (depth sensor) rear camera, whereas the 9X Pro has an AI Triple Camera module that comprises of a 48MP + 16MP (super wide-angle lens) + 8MP (telephoto lens) sensor. It should be noted that the 9X series have no notches so it's a FullView 6.59-inch IPS FHD+ display, with a 16MP pop-up front camera.

On top of that, the 9X series will have a new Kirin 810 chipset (7nm), 4000mAh battery and three different variants based on memory. For the 9X, there's a 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB model, while the 9X Pro has an 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB model. Other features include a Super WiFi penetrator (stronger WiFi performance) and liquid cooling technology for gaming. Below is the complete pricing for each variant:

  • 9X (4GB + 64GB) 1399 Yuan (~RM837)
  • 9X (6GB + 64GB) 1599 Yuan (~RM956)
  • 9X (6GB + 128GB) 1899 Yuan (~RM1136)
  • 9X PRO (8GB + 128GB) 2199 Yuan (~RM1315)
  • 9X PRO (8GB + 256GB) 2399 Yuan (~RM1435)
