HONOR has released a new gaming-focused smartphone in China, the HONOR GT Pro. Featuring top-of-the-line specs, read on to learn more about the device.
Under the hood, the GT Pro is powered by an overclocked Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS4.1 storage. Battery-wise, it’s a 7200mAh cell which supports 90W charging via the USB-C port.
Meanwhile, the display is a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED with 1 to 144Hz variable refresh rate, an FHD+ resolution, 6000 nits peak local brightness, HONOR’s Giant Rhino Glass protection, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a centre punch-hole cutout housing the 50MP selfie shooter. At the rear, the main camera is a 50MP IMX906 shooter paired with a 50MP ultra-wide and a 50MP 3x telephoto.
Other notable specs include Android 15 via MagicOS 9.0, an IP68/69 rating and colour options of either Gold, White or Black. In China, the GT Pro starts at CNY3699 or ~RM2222, with global availability yet to be announced.
