HONOR has launched a new gaming-focused smartphone under its GT lineup in China, which is simply named the HONOR GT. Featuring some fantastic specs for the price, read on to learn more.
The GT is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. There’s also a massive 5300mAh battery under the hood which supports 100W charging via the USB-C port, with cooling being handled by a 5,514 mm2 VC heatsink with graphite elements and 9W thermal conductive gel called the “HONOR 3D cooling system”.
Meanwhile, the screen is a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED with an FHD+ resolution, up to 4000 nits local peak brightness, an under-display fingerprint scanner and a centre punch-hole cutout housing the 16MP selfie shooter. At the rear, the main camera is a 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor paired with a 12MP ultra-wide.
Other notable specs include Android 15 via MagicOS 9.0, dual SIM, 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, AI features and colour options of either Ice White, Phantom Black or Aurora Green. In China, the GT starts at CNY2199 or ~RM1348 for the base 12/256GB model, with global availability yet to be announced.
