After departing from HUAWEI, HONOR has started to work on a bunch of exciting projects independently and one of them is bringing the "Magic" back. According to the latest leak shared by reputable tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Magic 3 powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Pro (a.k.a 888+) will be arriving in August.

It has been a long time since the launch of HONOR Magic 2 in 2018. Therefore, it's interesting to see that the brand has not given up on it yet after almost three years. If the leak is accurate, it will be the first super flagship smartphone launched by the company after the departure. Earlier, the company said that its smartphones will become the new benchmark for global smartphones and it was probably talking about the Magic 3.

As for the Snapdragon 888 Pro chip, rumour has it that it's not going to bring many improvements but simply has its frequency of the cores and the graphics subsystem overclocked. Besides HONOR, it is said that many other smartphone manufacturers including Xiaomi, OnePlus, and OPPO already have the test versions of the Snapdragon 888 Pro and are expected to launch devices with it.
