HONOR Magic 6 tech specs leaked - Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 5800mAh battery, 66W fast charging and so forth could arrive on January 2024

HONOR has confirmed the Honor 90 GT and the Honor Pad 9 table will arrive on 21 December 2023 in China. But that is not the end of it, a tipster on Weibo says the HONOR Magic 6 series could arrive in January 2024. So, what should we know about it?

According to Twenty-five TT on Weibo, the Magic 6 series could feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a 5800mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging. Rumours also say the phone could feature a wireless charging feature. The phone could sport a dedicated security chip, a radio frequency enhancement chip C1, and support satellite communication.

In addition, the new phone could feature a quad-curved OLED panel with 3840Hz PWM dimming and an Oasis eye-protection feature. It could also sport HONOR’s Jurhino display protection glass for better protection. Reportedly, this device could feature an IP68-rated dustproof and water-resistant chassis.

Camera-wise, it could sport a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. As of now, there are no details on the front camera. Plus, the phone could run Magic 8.0 (Android 14) as the OS.

We have yet to confirm other details or the Malaysia release date for this device. Besides that, these are only rumours, so you might want to take this news with a pinch of salt. At this point, we should wait for further confirmation from HONOR.
