Well, no torture tests this time around from Zack at JerryRigEverything as he tears down the HONOR Magic Vs foldable display smartphone. Set for a global release at MWC 2023 with the HONOR Magic5 series, HONOR told Zack that they’ve simplified their hinge down to just 4 parts.
During the teardown where he reveals the “magic in the Magic Vs” with the simplified hinge which reduces the complexity and weight of the device, Zack notes that the Magic Vs is easy to take apart which should make it fairly easy to repair. Hopefully, it also reduces the price significantly as well.
